Tree Shades

Let's See What We Have Here

These shades are installed after the seedling is planted.  For the best possible results, do your installation at the time of planting.  However, shades may be installed on seedlings at any time.

  1. Place the shade on the south side of the seedling for sun protection.  If you have more than one shade, place the other one on the northwest side for wind protection.
  2. Force the wicket into the ground by hand about six inches or until firm.
  3. The completed installation should be vertical.
