Truax FLXII-88 No-Till Seed Drill |

· Double disc furrow openers and depth bands optimize seed placement and seed to soil contact. · Multiple seed boxes give the flexibility to seed native fluffy seed, cool season species, small grains, legumes, and wildflowers. · Planting can be accomplished as no-till and interseeding in most conditions, from hard pastures and roadsides to crop residue and cover crops. Truax drills are designed to plant grasses and legumes on a variety of site conditions.

Towing and cost to rent drill: Towing A minimum of a 3/4 ton truck is needed for towing, and a 40HP or larger tractor for seeding. It is not recommended to seed on slopes of 15% or greater, and on rocky parcels.
Cost The cost to rent the drill is a base fee of $150.00 plus $10.00 per acre up to 20 acres. Over 20 acres, it will be $5.00 per acre. A $250.00 refundable deposit will be held until the drill is returned in the condition it was rented.
